Maintenance Guide for Export Version of Aluminum-Plastic Flooring
Core principle: The maintenance of aluminum-plastic flooring mainly relies on "daily cleaning + regular protection". It does not require complicated maintenance, and is suitable for the usage scenarios of overseas families and commercial places. At the same time, it meets the core needs of foreign trade customers for "easy care and prolonged service life".
Daily cleaning(High-frequency must-do)
For daily cleaning: Use a broom or vacuum cleaner to remove surface dust and debris, avoiding scratches on the surface caused by sand and hard objects.
For stains (beverages, oil stains, footprints): Wipe with a damp cloth dipped in neutral detergent (e.g., diluted dish soap). Do not use strong acid or alkaline cleaners. Dry with a dry cloth after wiping to prevent water residue.
For outdoor-installed flooring: Clean surface water in time after rain to avoid mold growth from long-term water accumulation (though aluminum-plastic is waterproof, water in gaps is prone to dirt buildup).
Regular protection (monthly/quarterly)
Monthly protection: Wipe the entire surface with neutral detergent once a month, focusing on joint gaps and edges to remove hidden stains.
Quarterly protection: Inspect the buckles/fasteners at the flooring joints every quarter. Tighten or replace them in time if loose to prevent flooring displacement and edge warping.
For outdoor flooring: Apply UV-resistant maintenance agent once every six months (optional) to slow down surface fading and aging, suitable for regions with strong UV rays such as Europe, America and Australia.
Prohibited Items (Core Taboos)
Prohibited: Do not wipe with sharp tools such as steel wool or hard bristle brushes, as they will scratch the surface wear-resistant layer and damage the decorative texture.
Prohibited: Do not drag heavy objects (e.g., furniture, equipment) on the flooring. Place an anti-slip mat before dragging to avoid crushing and scratching.
Prohibited: Do not place high-temperature items (e.g., hot water bottles, hot pots, ovens) directly on the flooring for a long time. High temperature will cause the surface film to peel off and deform.
Prohibited: Do not clean with corrosive liquids such as gasoline, alcohol and bleach, as they will corrode the surface and affect the appearance and service life.
Maintenance in Special Scenarios (High-Frequency Scenarios in Foreign Trade)
For commercial spaces (malls, schools): In high-traffic areas, increase the cleaning frequency by once a week. Regularly inspect the surface wear and replace worn areas in time.
For poolside and bathrooms: Clean water daily and wipe gaps with anti-mold detergent monthly to avoid mold growth, meeting the needs of overseas humid environments.
For underfloor heating scenarios: Clean the flooring surface before turning on underfloor heating. Control the heating temperature within 25℃ to avoid thermal expansion, contraction and edge warping of the flooring.
